The father of the deceased child reached the collectorate and told the officials that even after many pleadings, the hospital refused to give them an ambulance to take the child’s body. The victim’s father alleged that the doctor had also demanded Rs 5,000 for the delivery of his wife. The video of the victim taking out the body of the child from the side bag of the bike is becoming increasingly viral on social media. People are fiercely criticizing the administrative negligence in the matter.

After receiving the complaint, Singrauli Collector Rajiv Ranjan Meena has ordered an inquiry into the matter. The matter is of Singrauli District Hospital. On October 17, Dinesh Bharti, along with his wife Meena, had reached Singrauli district hospital for her delivery. (Singrauli Viral News)

It is alleged that Dr Sarita Shah, posted here, instead of helping the woman in delivery, asks her to go to a private clinic from a government hospital. When the clinic staff came to know that the child had died in the womb, they were sent back to the district hospital where the woman gave birth to the stillborn child. (Singrauli Viral News)

The family sought an ambulance to take their child’s body to their village, but the hospital management refused to provide any such facility to Dinesh. Then Meena’s husband Dinesh reached the collectorate keeping the child’s body in the side bag of the bike. Complained to Collector Rajiv Ranjan Meena, after which the Collector ordered an inquiry into the matter.
