Lucknow: UP Civic Body Elections– After the Lucknow Bench of the High Court ordered early elections without OBC reservation in the municipal elections in Uttar Pradesh, now Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued a big statement saying that “OBCs will get reservation first”. CM Yogi said that “If necessary, he can go to the Supreme Court regarding this decision of the High Court. Let us tell you that the Lucknow bench of the High Court has recently given its verdict on the municipal elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh. Canceling the reservation, the government has been ordered to conduct civic body elections in the state as soon as possible, which is a big blow to the state government.
Now, after this decision of the High Court, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath says that “Uttar Pradesh government will set up a commission in the context of municipal elections and provide reservation to OBC (Other Backward Classes) citizens on the basis of triple test.” Will do the work of giving.
