Mau (UP): UP Mau 5 People Burnt To Death– A bad news from Mau district of Uttar Pradesh, where the entire family of 5 members has been burnt to death in a fierce fire that broke out in a hut. This heart-wrenching incident took place in village Shahpur under Kopaganj police station area of Mau last night (Tuesday) at around 09:30 pm.
According to media reports, the fire in the house is said to have started from a burning stove, but the exact cause of the fire will be known only after investigation. Regarding the incident, Mau District Magistrate said that 5 members of the same family have died in the incident of fire in a house in village Shahpur. He informed that the families of those killed in the accident would be given financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh per deceased. (UP Mau 5 people burnt to death)
In media reports, it is being told by the Mau police that a woman (32 years old) Gudiya Rajbhar Mahila was married to a person named Ramashankar, a resident of Dohrighat, but for the last 4 years, Gudiya Mahila was living with her 8-year-old, 10-year-old and 10-year-old husband. The 12-year-old was living with these 3 children and a 14-year-old daughter of her sister in her maternal home in village Shahpur. (UP Mau 5 people burnt to death)
When the villagers saw long flames rising from the hut-like house on Tuesday night, all the people hurriedly ran to douse the fire. When the fire was extinguished after about half an hour, by then the entire family of 5 members had been burnt to ashes. Sadar SDM Hemant Chowdhary, Ghosi CO Umashankar Uttam, Kopaganj SO Amit Mishra also reached the spot after getting information about the accident. The police took out the dead bodies of all.
